Citing Sources

Welcome

The most popular resource for citation help is Purdue Owl.  The Purdue Online Writing Lab has put together many accessible, user friendly guides. Here at EVMS the School of Health Professions recommends Purdue Owl in their Blackboard course materials.

  • Purdue Owl - APA Guide
  • Purdue Owl - APA Sample Paper
  • Purdue Owl also has detailed guides for APA Style (7th & 6th Edition), MLA Style, Chicago Style, IEEE Style, AMA Style, and ASA Style.

Endnote

The EVMS library has an institutional site license to EndNote desktop. Use EndNote to collect references, format papers and bibliographies, and collaborate with research partners.  Endnote is also available as an online app.
