Clinical Medical Librarian Program

Services

The CMLs provide a range of services, including helping with reference questions, assisting with locating materials, receiving requests and
recommendations for new electronic and print resources, and collaborating on course-integrated instruction.

CMLs can assist with

  • Individual instruction in library resources
  • Creation of efficient search strategies
  • Literature reviews for projects
  • EBM instruction and literature searching
  • Group instruction (Computer Classroom available)
  • Document delivery and interlibrary loan

The CMLs also serve as consultants attending the EVMS Institutional Review Board (IRB) and Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) meetings.
