Objectives
1. Demonstrate knowledge of neurobehavioral mechanisms involved in acute and chronic pain.
2. Distinguish mechanisms and patient factors that drive evolution of acute pain and pain across the pain.
3. Perform a longitudinal pain related health history and exam and describe the role of family.
4. Classify various elements of transdisciplinary approach in recovery from severe disabling chronic pain.
5. Demonstrate language and techniques to provide chronic pain education, communicate diagnostic formulation, and treatment plan to patients.
6. Implement strategies to prevent evolution of acute pain to severe disabling chronic pain.
